ortraiture was my first love as an artist. Painting a likeness of a cat, dog, horse, or any animal isn't just about capturing correct hair color, or how the light catches their eyes. My portraiture is also about the soul within and honors each animal I always feel so privileged to get to know. This gives the viewer a feeling that goes beyond a photograph. Using rich color and gentle blending qualities, I spend many hours from start to finish making your painting something you will be able to cherish for years to come.
